Jayanti arrived in Rourkela on 3rd December morning to be with Mama and help us in household chores in the absence of Rabi and Payani with children who left on 24th November to attend 4 marriages including the marriage of Sarba’s eldest daughter

Kailash is no more

Our whole family was associated with him for the last four decades ever since we had a landline connection in our the then residence provided by Rourkela Steel Plant, our employers in B-29, Sector-20 and later in our current residence. I still have a BSNL landline connection and a BSNL mobile no as my primary number and its all because of this man called BSNL Kailash or Telephone Kailash. Kailash was one of the most helping persons and the last time I met him in CWS Hospital a couple of months back, he had come with his neighbour for dressing of her wounds.Kailash passed away yesterday in Hitech Medical College, Rourkela which attracted the attention of innumerable friends and relations despite the strict COVID guidelines. May God help his family to overcome this tragic loss and may his soul rest in peace.
