Nanu or Asit Mohanty, as he is popularly known, is a childhood friend from school days worked in Rourkela before being sent to Vishakhapatanam on transfer. His wife who was a college professor worked in Rourkela for a long time and both have superannuated from their jobs and have settled down in Bhubaneswar after giving both their daughters in marriage. Came to Rourkela to finish some bank transactions.

I was born and brought up with a lot of love in a small village in this small town in 1950. It became a Sub-division when I passed high-school and became a District after my graduation.It has made tremandous progress but what it lacks is the Railway line which doesn't pass anywhere near the township.People and places around which my life revolves in Jagatsinghpur are depicted in this blog.
